STARLEATON IS APPOINTED HEYTEX DISTRIBUTOR - April 15, 2010
April 15th 2010 – Starleaton Digital Solutions has added a range of wide PVC media manufactured by Saxony, Germany-based Heytex-Group, a long-established firm specialising in technical textiles and producing high-tech coated and laminated print media for large and super wide format printing.
Heytex Product Division Manager responsible for the Pacific Region and beyond, Arnoud Mekenkamp welcomes the appointment, saying; “We recognise Starleaton’s leadership and commitment in Australia’s wide and grand format digital printing market, and their passion for customer service which is something we share. I have known them for many years in my previous roles with Neschen and Seal and have always found Starleaton a pleasure to do business with.”
Initially, Starleaton will focus on HEYTex® Sign frontlit and Sign backlit in widths of up to five metres, plus Sign Mesh, a breathable outdoor mesh with very uniform surface structure for consistent image reproduction. A variety of weights are available. Other HEYTex products will be stocked as demand increases.
General Manager Ben Eaton comments; “From both a quality and price point of view, Heytex media offers excellent value and is manufactured to typically exacting German standards. The opening of Heytex’s Chinese factory in 2006 has added to the value propositions. As always, we will carry local stock of what we offer in order to respond to short-notice customer needs. The origins of Heytex-Group go back to 1913 when Julius Heywinkel started a canvas manufacturing business. Coating and laminating followed from the 1960s on and today, in addition to printable digital media, the company offers a huge range of advanced textiles for construction, architecture, agriculture, marine, military, swimming pool and sporting venue applications.
