STARLEATON LAUNCHES GUARANTEED FLOOR GRAPHICS SYSTEM - October 19, 2010
Sydney October 19th 2010 – Floor advertising in supermarkets, malls and public venues has grown significantly, outstripping the already high 2010 overall OOH (out of home) media growth of around 20%. However, there are many examples of poorly and even dangerously executed floor graphics, where attention to the particular dynamics of floor-mounted signage has been overlooked.
To address this, Starleaton has launched the SEAL Floor Graphics Warranty System, to give both sign producers and venue owners peace-of-mind when they follow the guidelines.
Starleaton’s General Manager Ben Eaton says: “Following the example of our suppliers SEAL and Neschen AG in Europe, we have assembled and tested a range of materials and processes, that we believe is the best available in Australia and New Zealand. Testing including anti-slip, was conducted by the CSIRO’s Industrial Research Services and the System complies with the recognized ANZS 4586:2004.”
The SEAL Floor Graphics System offers a choice of three textured over laminates to be used in conjunction with Neschen Easy Print removable self adhesive vinyl. “We guarantee removability without marking for up to 60 days when the production and application process is followed,” says Eaton, “if the material fails, it will be replaced free of charge and we have a claim form downloadable from our website.”
He continues; “One of the major reasons for de-lamination of wide format graphics is not allowing sufficient drying time of the print. We recommend up to 24 hours dry time depending on what ink technology was used before laminating and then 4 hours for the laminated product to remain flat, which achieves maximum adhesive bond.”
