PAPER GURU STEVE ALIPHON JOINS STARLEATON IN WA - July 19, 2011
Perth, July 18th 2011 – Steve Aliphon, a man with over 13 years experience in the paper and inkjet media supply sector, has joined Starleaton Digital Solutions in Western Australia as Senior Sales Executive.
Previously with Paperlinx subsidiaries Dalton Paper and iMedia, Aliphon has also worked with Rebel Paper, Boomerang Paper and Reding Paper Products in areas of customer service, sales and account management. He has constantly upgraded his business and technical skills and holds a Certificate of Business Studies III from Perth TAFE, and has attended several paper workshops including one at Wesley Vale, the former APM mill in Tasmania.
Starleaton’s National Sales Manager Campbell Hughes is clearly delighted to welcome Aliphon to the company; “Steve brings a wealth of knowledge about paper and inkjet coatings to Starleaton, as well as sound business and people skills. He is very customer-focused and a tenacious problem-solver who isn’t afraid to speak up on behalf of his clients to deliver the best service levels possible. It’s great to have him with us in our newly-relocated WA branch”
Aliphon himself is keen on the challenges ahead, saying; “Having been exposed to the growth trends in wide-format inkjet printing in my previous role, I am genuinely excited by this very visual and creative side of paper and media supply. Soon to be married to his long-term girlfriend, (“but first I have to survive the Bali Buck’s Party!”), Steve Aliphon is an avid movie buff, is into electro and hip-hop music and enjoys nothing better than socialising with his friends and family.
