TOMAS LORENC BRINGS EUROPEAN KNOWLEDGE TO STARLEATON - September 1, 2011
Sydney September 1st 2011 – Starleaton Digital Solutions has added another experienced Account Manager to its growing Melbourne branch. His area of responsibility will cover the East and South-East metropolitan area and Gippsland.
Tomas Lorenc hails from the Czech Republic where he was Sales Manager for VisCom materials for Antalis, the third largest paper supplier in the world. After Antalis, Lorenc became the Prague Business Region Manager for HSW Signall, the largest supplier to the advertising, signage and display sector. Here he was involved with products from HP, Neschen, Seal, Durst, Mutoh and Zünd. He placed the first HP 65000 Latex printer into the Czech market.
A love of travel and desire to learn English brought him to Australia in 2009 where he attended Kaplan Aspect College and graduated with an Advanced English Certificate. Lorenc also speaks fluent German as well as his native Czech.
“It’s great to be back involved with products I know so well,” he says; “I really enjoy the advertising, sign and display market and I like problem-solving and introducing fresh ideas.”
Lorenc is also well versed in business skills having studied Economics, IT, Accounting and Law.
National Sales Manager Campbell Hughes says; “It is rare that someone of Tomas’s background becomes available in Australia. He will be a very welcome member of our team and I am sure our customers will recognize his skills as he gets around his Victorian territory.”
Lorenc is married to his photographer wife, with no children yet. “Maybe there will be Aussie kids one day,” he says with a smile.
